Lakeshore Premier SC is not quite two years-old, yet our teams have compiled an impressive 111-40-32 record in their respective league play since the club began.

On average, our teams either win or tie 80% of their matches.

While it's helpful to keep track of such statistics, soccer to this club is about more than winning and losing, as we are focused on developing players as individuals who then work together as a team.  By any measure, the combined records of our teams represents the success  of our philosophy that combines a highly competitive environment, with skilled coaches who help players achieve their developmental goals

As we enter our third year, the "new wave of soccer" in west Michigan is becoming a tidal wave of great soccer, conveniently accessible, affordably priced and challenging for the most talented of players.

U16 Girls - Making the Grade (and then some)!

Posted by Tim Scarpino at Mar 25, 2012 5:00PM PDT ( 0 Comments )

Lakeshore Premier SC believes when competing against better players and teams at the higher level of the Michigan State Premier Soccer League, our players become better themselves.  This coupled with the training and competitive environment at Lakeshore Premier SC affords players the opportunity to improve their skills as they prepare for high school soccer and beyond.

And example of how this philosophy manifests itself in player development is shown with the Lakeshore Premier SC U16 girls team.  Of the five girls on that team who are freshman in high school this spring, three made their varsity team and two made their JV team.

And what’s just as exciting, of the 12 girls who are sophomores this spring, two made their school’s JV team and 10 made their school’s varsity team!  All the U16 girls who tried out for the teams at their respective schools made those teams, with most playing above their current grade!

Congratulations to all the girls and best of luck as they begin the spring high school season!

Lakeshore Premier U16 & U14 Boys Coach Brent Kowalski leads U11 players from the Fruitport Fire, Muskegon Lakers, Sailors Soccer Club and the Tri-Cities Strikers through some early spring training activities.  All four clubs are in the Partnership that created Lakeshore Premier SC in 2010, and are able to take advantage of additional training opportunities like that pictured, and the U11 Summer Camp.

This year’s U11 Boys & Girls camp is on July 16-18, 2012 and is under the direction of Lakeshore Premier SC Director of Coaching Aaron Dean and Coach Patrick Moran.  Both are on the Instructional Staff for the Michigan State Youth Soccer Association and have earned advanced licenses in youth soccer instruction.
