In 18 years of coaching, Coach Yvonne McKessy enjoys a solid reputation for knowledge of the game; well-organized training sessions and a positive coaching style that helps develop not only technically proficient players, but strong and confident ones as well.  

In 2017-18, she'll lead the U12 Girls.

She believes teams achieve great things only when players set high expectations for themselves.  In addition to coaching, she is the Soccer Development Director for Game On, a soccer program whose mission is to use the competition of soccer to help “…girls build their confidence, find their voice and learn how to lead”.

She played with the Ann Arbor Arsenal (the #1 ranked girls team four years in a row) and at a high level for Ann Arbor Huron High School.  She continues to play recreationally today.

Coach Yvonne currently holds the USSF National “C” license and is one of the few female coaches in West Michigan to have obtained such an impressive level of licensing.
